Quantic Lab expands its testing services to WiiWare games!
Quantic Lab, announced that it has successfully worked with Legendo Entertainment providing Q&A services for their WiiWare title - "The Three Musketeers: One for All!".
"On our first WiiWare title tested, we worked with Legendo Entertainment (ex Iridon Interactive) a Sweden based company on upcoming title called "The Three Musketeers: One for All!". This was an extremely important project for Quantic Lab because of its first contact with a WiiWare title." says Marius Popa, Marketing Manager for Quantic Lab."This is a revamped version of the PC title The Three Musketeers, which was the first game based on the world famous novel written by Alexandre Dumas. The platform used this time brings more fun for the player, enabling him to use Wii Remote moves to swing the sword of the character and the Nunchuk to move the character within the world", added Mr. Popa.
Quantic Lab successfully assured the functionality and the compliance testing for this title. "For the testing team, the compliance test was not a difficult task, because there are only a few differences between a WiiWare title and a normal Wii title. The amount of work is actually reduced a bit because a LotCheck chapter (disc and drives related) is unnecessary, this title being digitally downloaded" says Sevastian Secasiu, Wii Lead Tester at Quantic Lab. As for the functionality testing, the team had a wonderful experience working with this title. "After few years of testing, you look at a game trough the eyes of a professional critique and you cease to enjoy it. Because of the wonderful created world, game mechanics and its story, this title had the power to swoop us off our feet's bringing a great deal of nostalgia for the Platformer games that we used to play when we were kids. Of course we didn't lose our heads and professionalism in the process but we surely enjoyed it." Mr. Sevastian added.
