Alpha/Beta testing
High quality testing allows best approach for any project even in a pre-alpha state. Upon request, we evaluate and test “Work-in-progress” versions and use specific developer tools like Debuggers and Compilers The sooner the Q.A. phase begins, the lower the price for enhancing the product in that particular early stage. That translates in a better final product and a more satisfied client.

Functionality
QUANTIC LAB has implemented one of the industry’s most rigorous game-testing procedure. Based on submission/milestone documents received from the developer/producer we can verify all new features implemented in the game. In addition we analyze your project and create an internal test-case used for watching the project’s evolution. We offer regression testing for every new received version.

Stress test
QUANTIC LAB testers have a solid gaming background, with a wide experience in this field and are more than qualified to stress test any type of game in the minimum time possible, if needed. A standard stress test is executed on one or more stations over 24h of continued game play.

Game play, balancing, feedback
Our talented game testers are perfect to evaluate the playability of your game, to suggest changes and improvements that will optimize your commercial success. We will provide you with a comprehensive and detailed report, highlighting game play and balancing issues together with our suggestions that will guarantee your game to be a hit.

Multiplayer and network lab
The increasing demand for a competitive challenge with human opponents made our multiplayer testing team a very capable one. Our testers’ multiplayer experience started long time ago with the first LAN/TCP-IP games available. We constantly improve their skills through regular contests and competitions.

Hardware compatibility
The products are tested on multiple PCs with various hardware configurations in order to fully reveal all aspects that need to be corrected, enhanced or improved. QUANTIC LAB is equipped with the latest hardware available to support the most demanding games. We use up-to-date hardware, operating systems, sound systems and input devices, but also older generation components, in order to insure the backwards compatibility.

Linguistics Lab
Our translator team is fully capable of checking all or parts of your games accurately and efficiently in many languages such as English, German, French, Spanish or Italian. Upon request, missing text parts are translated.

Console and console pre-certifications
In concordance with the market high demand, our facility is ready for console game-testing. Additionally we will realize at our clients request high-quality console pre-certifications. We are also proud to announce that our company has expanded the area of services, providing Nintendo® DS testing (with Nintendo® testing agreement). Upon request we will provide any testing service the product requires.

The game testing team together with our hardware and security specialists are trained to deliver the best quality assurance for you.

 

  REPORTING

 

Communication
During the whole testing phase, we ensure a personalized work procedure, adapted to your needs and expectations. One lead-tester only will be your contact person and be responsible for the good execution of the test to your entire satisfaction. In order to ensure free flow of information, we can also use the following communication systems: Phone, MSN Messenger, Skype etc.

Bugzilla
Bugzilla is our standard bug reporting system. It integrates a large variety of function (project statistics in the form of graphs, filter for displayed bugs, quick search Section, improved Search capability, Improved User Interface, and many more) that gives us better error and bug control.

Tools or procedures
In addition to the daily online bug report, we can at your request, use any of the tools/procedures you have in place. We are also experienced in working with other bug tracking software (Mantis, Elementool, Jira, Alceea, and others). Reporting procedure (for new-found bugs or errors)

• Standard “three-times-in-a-row” reproduction procedure;

• Internal checking and approval by lead testers;

• Real-time reporting to the developer/producer;

• Developer/producer feed-back for reported bugs or errors is needed for procedure termination

Post project reports
At the end of each test, we will send you a document containing the summary as well as any important issues encountered during the tests. The purpose of this Post-project report is to give you an overview of the highs and lows of the test.
