We are looking for a Console Compliance QA Analyst to join our dream team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; technical background is considered an advantage
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in compliance testing
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Good knowledge of platform standards
  • Teamwork and customer focus skills
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that platform standards applicable for the tested game are respected and correctly implemented
  • Is always up to date with all the information about the consoles’ standards
  • Tests compliance aspects of the product in accordance with pre-determined plans and agreed methodology
  • Identifies compliance bugs and reports them accordingly in the database
  • Prepares compliance reports and communicates the results
  • Provides a feedback on what features must the tests focus on
  • Consults the development/client team in order to make the game in accordance with the console compliance requirements
  • Contributes actively to the training and ongoing development of QA Testers

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing across several gaming platforms and environments
  • Working with a multitude of bug tracking tools
  • Following specific guidelines when recording issues into databases
  • Proofreading texts to ensure they were correctly translated from English
  • Translating between English and target language when required
  • Ensuring the game meets the industry’s standard
  • Ensure that no guideline-related localization bug, flaw or issue remains in the signed-off product
  • Constantly seek to acquire knowledge of new testing procedures and standards
 
The candidate will preferably have:
  • Testing experience
  • Experience in translation or audiovisual localization
  • Technically proficient with PC’s, gaming consoles and related hardware
  • Computer literacy, specifically Windows, MS Word, Excel and Outlook

General Job description:

We are looking for a passionate IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Department. You will work within our IT Team and will be responsible for helping build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. As an IT Systems Engineer you will interact with all users within different production departments and collaborate closely with IT Management in order to keep ongoing operations at the most efficient level possible.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in the IT field and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of IP Networking and related services (Routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, NAT, VPN)
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, both in terms of hardware and software
  • Strong knowledge of Desktop Windows Operating Systems (Vista, 8, 10), Linux and APPLE MAC OS Operating Systems
  • Strong knowledge of desktop applications, like MS Office suite and alternatives, browsers, Antivirus software, etc
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server OS (any from 2008+) and Windows Domain Services (Active Directory services and Group Policy) as well as Linux Server OSes and services like HTTP Servers (e.g. Apache), Databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, Docker)
  • Proficient with scripting (Bash/PowerShell);
  • Ability to write and maintain IT documentation e.g. FAQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain a wide variety of operating systems (Server and Desktop), application software and system management tools.
  • Design, plan, implement, manage, test and troubleshoot back-up systems; test backup and restore policies.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with the rest of the IT Team to implement fixes.
  • Server and services administration, AD user administration, Security group management, Group Policy Management.
  • Perform network configurations as needed and troubleshoot networking issues
  • Manage Helpdesk tickets and follow-up with other support staff.
  • Provide support for company users, analyzing and resolving possible causes of hardware/software problems on a wide variety of devices (Servers, PC Desktops, PC Laptops, MAC computers and laptops, Linux PCs, Smartphones, Consoles, Printers).
  • Perform user configuration in various databases, like Bugzilla, Redmine, TestLink, CRM/ERP, etc.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
